Very Hungry. No Food. This Sucks.

So, as I’m “prepping” for a colonoscopy tomorrow, I haven’t eaten anything since 7:00 pm Wednesday evening. All I’ve had is Sprite & Code Red Mountain Dew today. I wasn’t doing to bad until I was reading the FP post about the Naan Bread

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Now, I’m very hungry, and food is really on my mind. So, what’s everyone having/had for dinner tonight? I’m thinking by tomorrow afternoon, when I awaken from my drug induced stupor, I’ll be fairly ravenous, and I want some ideas as to what to have for my first sustenance in about 48 hours. Thanks.

But, on the bright side, I’ve already lost 3 lbs since 5pm.

I’m having a huge chunk of ham, a couple slices of sharp cheddar, and a bowl of pepper-bacon mashed potatoes

I had Popeyes. It was incredibly greasy. Felt like someone punched me in the stomach after I finished eating.

We made shredded chicken root beer barbecue sandwiches. Cooked the chicken in the crock pot for 8 hours with root beer and season salt. Made a sauce out of ketchup, molasses, brown sugar, mustard, onions and liquid smoke. It was darned tasty.

Good luck tomorrow.

I had a craving for a good real cheeseburger, but I wanted fast food. Went to Subway instead of a burger place and got a footlong Meatball on Italian, toasted, with bacon and double orange cheddar. Tomatoes, onions, green peppers, olives, Frank’s Red Hot, parmesan and black pepper.

It was surprisingly disappointing.

Also, here’s hoping you get to rip such an epic fart as this guy did after his colonoscopy:

Ooh, maybe I could get Church’s Chicken! Epically tasty & greasy, with some biscuits, mashed potatoes & gravy. Or pizza. I could do the all you can eat Chinese buffet, but I would just get hungry again in an hour or so. ;)

All you should get on a meatball at subway is onion and cheese. Toasted. Or instead you could just not go to subway.

Do you have any actual written recipe? I may make that this weekend for my parents. I’ll need some Triple X root beer from Bandit, however.

Yup. My wife found it in one of her magazines. We made it to the letter of the recipe, but I think it could have used maybe a little more liquid smoke, or something else to kick it up a bit. But we’ve got to keep things a little bit tame for our kids. It was good, though. The recipe calls for 6 hours in the crock pot, but I did it for 8.

I love it, but this time it was just a bit much. The grease was turned up to 11...

I feel ya brother. I’m back on my diet (mostly just trying to cut back on my good bill so I can afford my new car) and I am fucking hungry as fuck right now.

I can keep from giving in, I’ll eventually fall asleep and then it’ll be breakfast time though...

You won’t care when you are coming down off the prophyrol.
